The topic I have chosen to research is of Electric cars. My research question is are electric cars good for the environment and the economy. By making electric cars we can help reduce gas emissions, lessen the amount of imported of electric cars from other countries, and open up more jobs in the country.



I chose this topic because I see many car manufactures now making strives to make an electric car. I personally want to see more done, as someone who loves cars, I would rather see more electric cars on the road, rather than gas powered engines. Since cars have come around the amount of CO2 has increased drastically.  CO2 is a greenhouse gas that is one of the most dangerous gases released from burning petrol. Greenhouse gases are causing global warming, which is very bad for the environment. Recently the temperature of the Earth has increased, and ocean levels have risen.



The audience I am trying to reach are parents, teens, young adults, and car manufactures. When parents are buy a car for their teen they usually get them something that is reliable. But at the same time they are willing to buy cars that are new and expensive. But for a good price they could also be buying them an electric car. Which in long terms would be cheaper to maintain. For example they don't have to worry about oil changes or gasoline. This can help parents save them so much money.

Teens love having nice, flashy cars to impress. But sometimes when they get a car they don't realize how expensive it is to maintain. Yes there aren't that many electric cars that are nice looking, Tesla's are one of the best looking electric cars. Young adults have very busy schedules some work and go to school, so they need a reliable care. So some travel over far distances, an electric car can help save the person save money on gas. Car manufactures should sell more electric cars, the demand has begun to increase since people have been able to save more. But they could also help to decrease with CO2.
