Four Pillars Essay analysis

1.The thesis of the essay is found on paragraph one, the last sentence. The locations of the evidence for the argument are shown in paragraphs 4,6, and 8.It's refutation can be found on paragraph 9. And the conclusion paragraph is number 9.
2.The first paragraph has the thesis which his idea is to  take a stand that a higher education isn't  necessary.Paragraph 4 is showing evidence of that the cost of college has increased and so has debt. The second showing of evidence is on paragraph 6, saying that our generation is basically starting to be of entrepreneurs. The final show of evidence is on paragraph 8, he talks of how businesses are now starting to hire through sorts of social media apps created to show your experience and skill. The other refutation of this essay is paragraph 9, he says school should only be for the ones who want to have a career and only go to study for that and not have other classes. The conclusion of this essay is to say that it all matters the person priorities and we should try to build a better world.
3.The author appeals to the audience by talking of conformity and setting priorities. He talks of how the world is changing and not every job requires a higher education. Now a days many teens want to become entrepreneurs, and not many want to attend school now just start their business and live life.In parts I can agree with what he says like for example" We think of college as a stepping-stone to success rather than a means to gain knowledge.". He also appeals to the audience by saying go to school for the career you want to peruse not just to go and waste time when you can be doing other things.
